Grace Hill

St. Louis, MO

Grace Hill Health Center South is the second of two Federally Qualified Health Centers that Grace Hill partnered with Arcturis to build in the St. Louis area. While the first Grace Hill Health Center was a design/build project, the new health center location involved repurposing retail space in a plaza across from St. Alexis Hospital.  Based on the understanding built by our continuing relationship with Grace Hill, Arcturis was able to contain costs while creatively maximizing the use of space to meet the needs of patients and physicians. The new health center replaces dilapidated underutilized space with an inviting, high performance medical clinic.  Grace Hill Water Tower Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing a medical home to the uninsured and under insured in St. Louis. As part of our relationship based design process, Arcturis listened to the needs of families, caregivers and the community to enrich the design. As a not-for-profit health center, the design had to support the delivery of high quality medical services and contain costs. The first new construction in its neighborhood in 20 years, the new center also needed to be a place of welcome, healing and safety. Together with the Grace Hill team, we created a space that is now a beacon in the neighborhood. Today, this award-winning facility houses medical, dental and diagnostic spaces as well as public areas, staff offices and play areas for children.
