With the arrival of the Chess Club and World Chess Hall of Fame, St. Louis has added two more world-class attractions to enrich the life of our city and draw visitors from around the globe.The design of the Hall of Fame subtly incorporates fun chess elements while creating an environment to showcase priceless chess artifacts and art. The Club attracts international championship matches as well as helping recruit boy and girl scout troops into the ranks of enthusiasts. Arcturis worked closely with the client on every element of these twin projects from graphic design to landscaping and the renovation of historic buildings. The resulting environments respect the classic nature of the game while generating their own unique excitement and identity.
