Arcturis provided interior program and design consultancy for renovating an existing non-secure sheriff’s department facility plus selected jail areas totaling roughly 30,000 sq. ft. Renovations for secure jail operations included additional secure inmate housing, expansion of food service, laundry, program, visiting and jail administration space for the St. Charles County Department of Corrections. The project included designing and specifying security systems for the renovated area that in and of themselves function effectively while also linking to the greatest degree possible with the existing master control center and its systems.
