The facility serves as the primary data center to Edward Jones. The N 1 Level 8 design was developed with increased structural criteria to provide protection from natural disaster. A combination of steel and CMU bearing is integrated with strengthening to meet Seismic Zone 3 requirements. The exterior walls are fully-grouted concrete block and will withstand 150 mph projectiles. The main volume is clad in a brick skin and the core elements are clad with a honed variegated limestone. The built up roof is concrete slab for tornado defense. The raised floor design incorporated a leak detention system, grounding grid and sophisticated fire supression system.
