Arcturis was engaged by Brentwood Public Library to lead a transformative rebrand in tandem with our architecture and interior design for their adaptive reuse of a mid-century office building. A core aim was to reflect the inviting, approachable culture of the existing library—a beloved community space—while injecting fresh aesthetic appeal to magnetically attract 20s and 30s audiences for future growth, yet remain welcoming to loyal patrons. The new brand harmonizes with contemporary features like a light-filled central atrium, natural wood finishes, clean white surfaces, concrete elements, and a textured brick facade symbolizing openness. This wasn’t a facelift; it evolved a cherished institution with a fun, approachable spirit, ensuring every detail resonates across generations in this sustainable renovation. It creates an inclusive hub where all feel at home to explore, connect, and discover.
