Signage & Brand Production Designer | Atlanta, GA

Our Brand Experience (BRX) team is seeking to add a Signage Production Designer to preferably be based in our Atlanta office to assist with a wide variety of graphics, signage and wayfinding projects.
Position Summary:
Be part of project team from Schematic Design to Design Development through Construction Administration
With direction from senior BRX team members, develop detailed signage drawing sheets - including elevations, multiple views, details, mounting requirements, specs, etc.
Set up production files, review production proofs, fabrication shop drawings, samples prototypes
Complete support documentation: message schedules, location plans, spec doc requirements
Review work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance
Research materials, processes, and ADA/Building Code, DOT and zoning requirements
Coordinate with design team (architects, interior designers, design consultants) and fabricators throughout project development
Attend site visits to document site conditions and conduct thorough field measurements
Oversee signage & graphics installs for quality assurance, locations may be out of town, so travel would be required
Demonstrate strong and effective communication, and ability perform assigned tasks
Manage time, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines across multiple projects
Work with team to set appropriate schedules based on workflow
With guidance, work within budget and time constraints
Contribute to RFP responses and studio growth initiative
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design or related discipline
3-5 years of experience in design, architecture, or signage industry
Experience with various aspects of signage design work - materials, substrates, coatings, production means & methods
Familiarity of fabrication and constuctability, printing processes
Experience with complex signage and wayfinding projects, both exterior and interior
Ability to solve signage design production challenges
Strong grasp of typography
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Google docs, Excel
Familiarity with CAD or CADTools
Revit, Rhino, and/or Sketch-up, SignAgent experience is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate design decisions to support presentations, and other written documentation, including client guideline documents
Excellent organizational skills with ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects

Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
