How do you tell family that you are not a gardener?
It typically starts with “I need help with my garden.” I respond “I charge $150 an hour, gardening not included.”
What is your favorite landscape anywhere in the world?
In the summer of 2007, I studied abroad in Europe. During the course we traveled to many different areas, but my favorite landscape was the countryside of South England. The landscapes were made up of vast rolling hills, dramatic valley’s and winding country roads. Each road led to the next picturesque town/village with historic churches and friendly locals. Some of my favorite stops along the way were the towns/villages of Winchester, Salisbury (Stonehenge close by), Dorchester, Bath, Castle Combe, Oxford among others. The town boundaries are well defined which limits suburban sprawl and preserves the countryside of England.
