The Gateway Foundation commissioned the design of Citygarden, located within two city blocks in the heart of Downtown St. Louis. The garden transforms 2.9 acres of passive green space into a sculpture garden with 15 to 20 works of art, including sculpture by Mark di Suvero and George Rickey. As an Owners Representative, Arcturis ensured the overall design goals were met, plus monitored the budget, and schedule, working with the contractor and project team. The result is the award winning Citygarden, nationally recognized as one of great new urban parks of America and enthusiastically embraced by the local St. Louis community. Arcturis has continued to serve the Gateway Foundation in the role of representative and designer, since the garden’s opening in 2009.
