Glik stores

Glik’s is a family-owned retail apparel chain established in 1897 with over 70 locations. As the company welcomed its fifth generation to the company, current leadership realized that they needed a more effective distribution center and progressive office space. 

Arcturis was engaged to do the design for the two-story office space. The office will be adjacent to a new distribution center and warehouse. A collaborate discovery session with the client led to a minimalist palette with allusions to Glik’s history. Light wood, indigo accents, denim-inspired finishes, and vintage furniture lines inspire a modern heritage feel. A goal was to create a more collaborative environment to attract and retain new talent. The neon “G”  from a mid-century exterior store sign is integrated into the space to connect to its roots. The design allows for history to give the space a soul within a fresh and modern space.
