Kate Kini

ARCHITECTURE
Kate Kini, RA, is an Architect at Arcturis' Atlanta studio—having rejoined the team at Square Feet Studio (SFS) after interning the previous summer. She grew up in the suburbs north of Atlanta and always knew in her heart she would eventually settle down in the verdant, charming city. Kate received her Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. Her experience also includes internships at Atlanta firms Lord Aeck Sargent and Lightroom, as well as King + King Architects in Syracuse.

Kate’s approach to design is both pragmatic and cognizant of the human experience—she is keen to make a positive impact on her community. Outside of work, you can find her staying active at the climbing gym or on the Beltline, trying a new restaurant or brewery, and soaking up some sun outdoors while daydreaming about adopting a dog one day soon.

Name one of your passions or hobbies?
Being outdoors! Hiking, camping, or tubing down the river

What is the most interesting place you’ve been?
New Zealand – I loved getting to see “Mount Doom” from the Lord of the Rings films and real glaciers up close!

What superpower would you choose?
Talking to animals. I would love to be able to go near creatures in the wild without scaring them!
