OASIS INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY KITCHEN

Oasis International’s mission is to “…love and care for those who seek refuge from a war torn country.” One way Oasis does this is through operating a community kitchen that helps bring refugees together through cooking. Whether it be through cooking classes or preparing large meals for community events the kitchen has had a major impact in how Oasis serves the refugee community. Arcturis worked with Oasis to develop the kitchen and restroom layout, provide architectural drawings for permit and construction, and provide expert guidance through the project. The construction of the project was done through a variety of volunteers and sub-contractors and included donated materials.
