O’fallon, Illinois mixed use development

This 80-acre mixed-use development is centered around a regional park that brings energy and economic activity to the area. The plan balances vibrant public spaces with functional mixed-use areas, thoughtfully designed to fit the greenfield site with a compact layout, reduced paving, and shared parking that enhances walkability. Community voices have guided the process. After traffic concerns were raised during a public session, we led a three-month study to shape responsive solutions. Ongoing conversations with city leaders help ensure the project reflects broader goals. A planned pedestrian tunnel and regional trail connections will link key destinations, supporting safety, access, and sustainability. This work deepens our experience creating places that serve both people and long-term growth.
