As part of the STLCC Transformed initiative, the new Financial Services Education Center at STLCC Meramec is designed to advance the College’s leadership in workforce development for the finance, business, and entrepreneurial sectors.
This modern, 80,000-square-foot facility will introduce dynamic programs in Financial Services, FinTech, and Entrepreneurial Sciences—preparing students for careers in rapidly evolving industries. The building will also house the Campus Enrollment Center, providing a centralized, student-focused hub for enrollment and support services.

Created with flexibility and innovation in mind, the Center will feature adaptive learning spaces, advanced technologies, and open, collaborative environments that mirror real-world professional settings. Transparency, inclusion, and connectivity are core to the experience—fostering a strong sense of community throughout the campus.

Architecturally, the building is anchored by a distinctive north-facing band of classrooms and offices, forming a bold visual connection back to the larger campus and helping define a clear sense of place. A central circulation core runs through the heart of the facility, activating the interior with study hubs, collaboration zones, and informal gathering spaces that support student engagement beyond the classroom.

A thoughtful, integrated approach guided every phase of the project—from planning to construction—centered around five foundational principles:
