Loafers Bread Shop is an outpost of local favorite sandwich shop, Union Loafers. Created to be a very simple space to pickup bread orders, this small storefront needed a brand identity that matched the spirit of it’s parent cafe: a unique blend of playful forms and utilitarian design sensibility.

Specifically, the owners wanted it to immediately convey the idea of bread. Out solution was a custom type design of the word risen into a plump loaf with all the gentle curves and crisp edges of the real thing. A simple blue and cream color palette reinforces the straightforward but bold tone of the brand.
